ITOX Launches High-Performance Mini-ITX Mobile System Board

The ITOX CA100-D Mini-ITX motherboard features a Mobile Intel® GM45 Express chipset offering lower power consumption and higher performance for mobile and embedded system applications. Second-generation Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processors with up to 1,066 MHz FSB and Intel‘s 45nm transistor technology are fully supported, including the Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T9400 with 6MB Cache, 2.53 GHz clock speed.

The CA100-D delivers maximum performance with up to 8GB of DDR3 800, or 1066MHz dual-channel system memory. Additional features include integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500 with DVI, VGA, and LVDS interfaces with dual-independent display capability, four Serial ATA ports, UltraDMA/100 controller accepting two IDE devices, eight USB 2.0 ports, two serial COM ports, two Gigabit Ethernet LAN controllers, and integrated HD 24-bit audio with S/PDIF I/O. Expansion is provided through one PCI Express x1 slot, and one PCI slot, accepting optional 1, 2 or 3 PCI slot riser cards.

This embedded motherboard has a guaranteed product lifecycle of five or more years, and is designed for applications requiring a stable revision-controlled platform. The CA100-D mobile motherboard is ideal for use in a broad range of embedded applications, including gaming machines, ATM, industrial control automation, digital signage, medical equipment, telecom, transportation, network appliances, and security.

A Mini-DTX product is also available with similar features, and includes a PCI Express x16 expansion slot: CA230-BF
