aicas Wins 2011 Software Embeddy Award for JamaicaCAR

aicas was awarded the 2011 Embeddy Award for Best in Show in the area of Software and Tools for its just announced JamaicaCAR connected application framework for automotive applications. The award was presented by Mr. Christopher Rommel of VDC Research, the sponsor of the Embeddy Awards. JamaicaCAR offers a secure framework for running Java apps, enabling the car owner to update the system as new functionality becomes available. The JamaicaCAR was designed with safety and security in mind, minimizing driver distraction and ensuring that only properly vetted applications can access critical resources.

After receiving the award, Dr. James, J.
