ITOX QB700-B Qseven™ Module Features Industrial Temperature Range Support For -40° to 85°C Operating Environments

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – October 11, 2010 – ITOX, a leading provider of embedded x86 products and the United States affiliate of DFI-ACP, today launches the new QB700-B Industrial Temperature Qseven™ form factor computer-on-module (COM) product offering low power consumption, integrated memory, improved graphic processing support and I/O interface flexibility. This cutting-edge module pairs an Intel® Platform Controller Hub (PCH) EG20T with the low power Intel® Atom™ processor E620T (.6GHz), E640T (1.0GHz), E660T (1.3GHz), or 680T (1.6GHz). The new System-on-Chip (SoC) Intel® Atom™ processor E6xxT series is built on 45-nanometer process technology with integrated memory controller and graphic engine, providing higher performance per watt than previous two-chip platforms.

The QB700-B module is available with 512MB or 1GB of DDR2 667/800 MHz SDRAM system memory soldered onboard. Additional features include an Intel graphic engine with LVDS and SDVO interfaces providing dual-independent video display capability for graphics intensive and multimedia applications. The advanced 3D graphics processor and high definition hardware video decoder and encoder engines provide up to 50% higher graphic performance than the previous Intel® Atom™ processor.

Supported interfaces include a Gigabit LAN controller, two Serial ATA ports with speed up to 3Gb/s, six USB 2.0 host controller ports, 3 PCIe x1 expansion interfaces, Azalia HD audio, and SD/SDIO controller compatible with SDHC Flash memory cards up to 32GB Class 6.

A 3.5” subcompact carrier board Q7-951 allows customers to immediately evaluate the QB700 module with their application software. The Q7-951 Qseven carrier supports all integrated interfaces on the Q7-951 module, with TPM 1.2 support available as an option.

This embedded module is ideal for cost-sensitive applications requiring a small low-power computing platform, such as industrial control automation, ATM/POS, medical equipment and gaming embedded applications.
